TASK 1 - PACKAGING & PROMOTION // DR STUART'S TEA PACKAGING

This packaging project was in the same book as the same book
It caught my eye because of the witty nature of the images in relation to the name and nature of the tea.

The appeal to the adult nature of 'trying to do the right thing' like being healthy so the tea's concentrate on this for example;

  • detox
  • green tea
  • throat relief
  • liver detox
  • winter ease
  • skin purity
They appeal to both male and female adults. They are a combination of organic ingredients which enhances their appeal.
Dr Stuart's tea brand has a winning series of packaging which attracts customers. The surreal illustrations and peculiar but relevant descriptions represent DR (the name adds to the convincing nature of the product) as an idiosyncratic expert.
The black and white typography gives the brand a modern vibe.
Overall as a piece of packaging and promotional design I think that they are fun, innovative, intriguing and amusing which catches the eye of adults initially through their descriptions and the bizarre illustrations.
