This project was for a retail centre called 'Campus Shopping' in the Nydalen Campus in a new state of art building in Norway business school. The design and letterform of the signs take the form similar to digital car parking signs (showing customers how many spaces there are left in the car parks around the city.) The use of this typeface gives the signs a digital, new, technological and innovative feel to the shopping centre. This is what initially caught my eye bout the project.

TASK 1 - INFORMATION & WAYFINDING // SO YOU NEED A TYPEFACE?
The piece of info graphics interested me because of the title and what it is describing. It is different from all the other pieces of info graphics that I have found because it is not based on data or trying to represent a part or sector. It is a useful poster which help someone chose a typeface depending on what they are needing it for.
TASK 1 - INFORMATION & WAYFINDING // SRISHTI SCHOOL FOR ART, DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY
This was a project for the proposal of a way-finding system around for around the college
I like the design of the project because of the choice of typeface, heavy black which is also reflected in the surrounding architecture (heavy black lines)

TASK 1 - INFORMATION & WAYFINDING // MAP OF THE FUTURE
This is a very graphically intersting visual representation commissioned by WIRED (Italian Magazine) and shows the hypothesis created by influences which would occur by year 7000.
TASK 1 - INFORMATION & WAYFINDING // INFOGRAPHICS
Info graphics are a visual way of representing statistic, facts and figures
This project deals with a group of data - a collection of opinions from a major poll in Denmark
The focus is on refugees and immigrants. The focus of the interest deals with whether or not the Danes think its ethical to wear religious symbols in public professions. I have used the looks and appearances of traditional religious symbols to design the diagrams explaining the data.

TASK 1 - PUBLISHING & EDITORIAL // SOUND & VISION PUBLICATION
This is a 'farewell' present for the President of the Institute of Sound and Vision. In the publication the company have translated video and sound on to the 600 pages. It is an interactive flip book along with pop-ups, a dvd and also the single of David Bowie "Sound and Vision"
I was drawn to this book because of it unusual size and style, then the contents are rather like a pixilated TV screen.

TASK 1 - PUBLISHING & EDITORIAL // FILE MAGAZINE
This is an annual magazine the publishes a wide range of visual communication e.g. graphic design, art, photography, fashion etc. It is simple and clear including articles and text written about the work publishes and the artists and designers. The cover page is what drew me to look at the magazine, it is innovative and humerous.
TASK 1 - PUBLISHING & EDITORIAL // BOOK - INTERNATIONAL DESIGNERS NATION
This is a book on is a digital design magazine which is aimed at design enthusiasts and lovers of info graphics. The aim of the magazine was to produce something more legible, universal and friends to non-designers as sometime info graphics can be quite difficult to understand.
