An idea for my problem - I could produce something with a front and a back, the question on the front and the answer on the back using type and image.

No news is good news - Lateral Thinking
For this brief I have to use LATERAL thinking - to try and approach the problem from a different angle and hence engadging the reader. Below are a couple of posters which I found engadging, entertaining and an intersting approach to the problem.

No News Is Good News - Part 2 MAIL SHOT research
OPINION;
"CHEAP DRINKS CAUSE PRICEY PROBLEM AMONG UNDER 18'S"
QUESTION;
"WOULD YOU RAISE THE PRICE OF ALCOHOL TO LOWER THE COST ON YOUR CHILDREN'S HEALTH?'
BRIEF;
To produce a mail shot which reinforces my message to appropriate recipients.
RESEARCH
Looking at mailshots and other ways adverts/posters have caught the audiences attention to make them stop, read on, think and remember what is being communicated.
I need to find ways to present my mail shot which will engage the person receiving it, and shock/grab their attention. I will also research the packaging and how it can suggest what it contains .

Looking at packaging. The dog poo bags have come up with a range with target a specific audience (different breads of dogs.)
CARD BOY
Looking at different media and how it can help interact and represent the message
interactive packaging
Bright, colourful, contrasting and simplistic packaging makes the product look inviting and fruity/tasty
Conveying the message in a humorous way.
Designing something which can be used and visible around the house which will constantly be a reminder of the message.
Thinking along the line of getting the audence to interact, read and remember the message I had the idea of cut out neaklaces/badges/stickers. They could be small in size and have up to 6 on the size which I have been given and each could read different messages. They could target different audences.

No News is Good News - Research
"36 UNDER 18'S ADMITTED TO A & E DAILY DUE TO EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION"
Below are some examples of posters which I am using for inspiration of the layout, type, form and how effectively it communicated the message to the audience. Some of the images are related to underage drinking and some I have displayed because I feel they are effective in providing a clear message.
